~ Lovely Sunday ~

It has been a lovely weekend so far.
J made it home late Friday evening.
All three pups were so excited when the
big truck pulled in our driveway!
But, Zeke was the happiest.
I flung open the kitchen door
and he ran out to greet J.
His tail could not have wagged any faster!
After jumping up to look J in the eyes,
paws on shoulders,
he gave a few slurps across his face.
And as they walked back into the house,
Zeke kept licking J's hand.

I knew that some time in the middle of the night,
Zeke would creep from his bed, at the foot of ours,
and climb into bed with us.
So I threw his blanket on J's side.
When I woke up in the morning, sure enough, he was there.

Zeke is content now.
As are Sadie Louise and Baby Girl.
The pack is complete
and everyone is in the den!

Happy Father's Day to my sweet dad!
We Love You!

I hope all of you have a lovely day
on this Fathering Sunday.

misha

Oh that sweet, sweet Zeke. A guy like that can only relax if every member of the family is in the house. Love the picture of him sleeping next to his Alpha-dad...
How rich are you!!
Enjoy you happy family.

Oh my gosh, a happy pack is just the best. No matter how much we try to let the alpha male know that we are happy he's home, we can never compete with the pure joy that the dogs show.

I wish all people knew the depth of the feeling of animals, it would be a much happier world for all. What a sweet post, love the love here. Our little Bo is the one here that will not leave my husband along when he comes home. Bo just demands to be picked up and hugged and hugged! Sorry I have not been visiting blogs much, I have been gone for long lengths of time and haven't blogged much either. Hope all is well with you! ;)
