~The Eagles Have Landed~

It's back!
The Eagle Cam.
Last year,
J and I were enamored with
Mama and Papa eagle!

It is a close-up into the world of wildlife
that will blow you away!
Mama eagle layed the first egg about 20 hours ago.
Soon a second and third.
Papa even helps with keeping the eggs warm.
As it should be!
After the babies hatch and get a little older,
the antics begin!

It is also very interesting to watch how one eagle
will fly off to find food and bring it back to the nest.
And then they both feast!
They really like fish and rabbit.

When they begin teaching the little ones to fly..
well, we were glued to the screen!

Here is the link.
Eagle Cam!
Or you can just click on the link
towards the top of my sidebar.
And their Facebook page has great info.

Have fun keeping up with
the eagles over the next few months.
xo,
misha

Eagle Cam!!! Yay! Thanks for telling me. I looked in on this last year, but didn't spend much time there. This year I will give it another try, because I love stuff like this. (When my kids were little, we used to sit and watch the Naked Mole Rat Cam at the National Zoo, and they were fascinated. You should try it.) :)

I watched it a lot last year... I may pass this year unless someone mentions an awesome video from their site to watch.

This is just the coolest thing I've seen in a long time! I had NO idea that they did this-Apparently my dad did though because I mentioned this and he said, "Yeah, they've been doing that for the last few years." LOL

Thanks for the link, Misha. I saw this on TV once and just loved watching the eagle families daily
living.
My husband and I visited Haines, Alaska and the eagles are thick there. It was so thrilling to see.
