no kidding ... this so called winter has been really interesting indeed. it's 64 degrees here today. just lovely. but so not winter. don't want to sound like i'm unhappy ... it does provide me with the chance to winter clean. hanging rugs out to dust off... you know all the norm. but i would love to see some snow & pretty covered grounds. we had another aftershock here last night ... a 3.2 on the richter scale. in august of 2011 was my 1st earthquake in the 5.3 i believe it was ... wow. it was scary. still can not get use to those things. so as you say the weather is plain strange. i love your photos. what a glorious view. (:

I see why you'd never tire of these distant views.
There is only small patches of snow and ice at the canyon. Nothing normal about weather.

Beautiful views:-)

I am missing the rains we are supposed to have this time of year because they make the spring hills so much more beautiful.

Love your mountain views! Winter just isn't happening around here either . . . a few cameos lasting a day or two and then the "thaw/melt "starts all over again. Today it is sunny and in the mid 50's . . .

Feels like springtime and I am totally missing cold, crispy and white . . .

Confusing isn't it . . .

I am NOT missing the cold and snow....although we have had a little bit...today it's over 50 degrees..in MICHIGAN! I'm just a little nervous that we are going to get slammed in February to make up for it! Love your view!

Come over here, more than enough of that @#%$#& cold and snow over here.
Went outside this afternoon and still am sore in my bones and joints. Feel like I'll never be warm again.....
No, I'm only best on solar-energy and above 25 degrees (Celcius, that's about 77 degrees in your terms)
Hate winter!!

Since it was warm enough up here in VA for me to be outside staining wood all day (with no gloves or coat) I shouldn't complain. BUT I was Sooooo looking forward to my experienceing my first real winter in years. Oh well I'm sure that the snow will find us next year!

We have had 60's for the last several days. No costs or jackets

We haven't had any measurable snow all month.

Your view is absolutely beautiful. 70 degrees here today. I'm loving these spring-like days. 70 is my perfect temperature so I'm not missing the cold at all.

I emailed you back. Was I right?

I just read another post and she is missing winter too. Happily, gladly, without question I'd like to give you some of ours. :)
Your farm looks beautiful!

64 here yesterday. I'm not sure today but similar. My post today shows an almost blooming magnolia. My zone 6a hilltop looks similar to yours today.

HI Misha, YES---it has been a very mild winter.. I heard today that Chicago had its mildest January's in 80 years. Unbelievable!!!!

We've been traveling some this week --and we loved the mild weather and those blue skies. We're home now --and of course, it is raining again... ha

Hugs,
Betsy

It's been a strange winter here too Misha...we had a tiny bit of snow the beginning of November and then a skiff in December that was gone in an hour or two and other than a nice rain the other day that's been it. It's been sunny and some days were in the high 60's but most were in the mid to high 50's. Strange for this time of year. Enjoy your beautiful weather! :)

It's definitely been quite the interesting "Winter" here in Illinois I just say, too-I put Winter in the quotes because we really haven't seen much of one!

And honestly, I'm okay with that. The Winter months are always the worst for me and my body O.o

Hi dear, I apologize for not commenting sooner...been a tad hectic. We went to Cookie´s first puppy shows this past weekend and will go to two more next weekend and the week days fly with work and everything else! So sorry my dear!

Yeah, winter has been very strange in Norway this year too. We have snow and it´s cold but not like it usually is. The lake is just now starting to slowly freeze over but I doubt it freezes enough for us to walk on it like we have in years past- or ski on it for that matter.

Quite honestly, as I´m getting older I am not enjoying winter as much as I use too. It´s too dark and depressing...cold and wet...I want winter for about two weeks around Christmas and then I´ll take spring or any other season...hahahaha...

I never realized how beautiful Tennessee was until I came upon your blog and see all the gorgeous landscape photos...amazing...will definitely have to visit someday before it´s too late!

Big hugs from Norway :-)
