My Nana taught me the value
of a hand-written note.
A thank-you,
a birthday greeting,
a get-well
or a just
"How are you?"
Nana has been a life-long letter writer
and card sender.
But, sadly in the past few years her ability
to remember to send letters and cards
has diminished.
She does, however, LOVE to still receive cards!
Mail is a fave thing of Nana's!
So I have a favor.
Would you send my Nana a Christmas card?
It would mean the World to her!!
And me :)
It will not matter that she does not "know" you.
What will matter, is that someone sent love her way!
If you are so inclined,
please leave a comment that you would like her address.
Make sure your email is attached!
Or email me at
1missmisha@gmail.com
This is all I want for Christmas.
Honest.
much love and peace to each and everyone of you!
xo,
misha

Love to!
I would love to send her a card also. Thank you for thinking of this kind gift to her. You are very special.
This rang a note with me since my dear Aunt Laurie, who suffered from Altzeimer's for the last ten years or so, loved receiving notes and would keep them for ages. No matter what the season or the sender she treasured them. The tangible seemed to give her peace and a connection to something lost from memory.
Please send Nana's address:
teagrrrl @ hotmail (dot) com
Happy Holidays to you.

Hi...visiting you from Julie's blog. I was drawn to your blog, with your title, and love of animals, and country,.
Oh what a sweet post about your Nana. Beautiful lady.
I know how important mail is to the elderly...they don't do this silly computer stuff...they like the REAL thing....which is becoming a lost art.
I live in Canada, and probably won't be able to get a card out to her for christmas (I am leaving in 12 days to Utah to visit my family) and I don't even have a single Christmas card in the house.
BUT...I want to send her a card, and if I can get into town I'll buy one for her.
So.....how can I get her address.
email me at beazer1812@comcast.net
