Wanna be next?

One down.
Four to go!
(horsey baths, that is!)
And then,
we will be spraying down each other :)

What is it like in your neck of the woods today?
Stay cool!
xo,

p.s. 62 days until the first day of Autumn.
Hooray!

i always think it's funny how the horses get clean and comfy and we get filthy and disgusting when we bathe them... :)

Well, yesterday it made it up to 100 and we went to the mall to enjoy the a/c (I hate shopping!). It wasn't working very well. So far today it's only 86 and I notice the difference! Counting down the days to autumn. Kind of. Because that just means those bitter cold days of winter will be just around the corner. Oh...will I ever be happy? ☺

It's been raining for about 2.5 hours so my horses are getting an "automatic" bath! They have a barn they can go under but it must feel good to get the sweat rinsed off with rainwater because they are out grazing in the downpour!

Hooray is right! I can't wait.

62 days for your autumn? We have about 30 more than that. *sigh*

I wonder who enjoyed being sprayed down more, you and J! Or the horses?

I am a fall person too. LOVE IT!

And really strange, I LOVE winter, snow, walking outdoors, used to ski and loved it too.

In this heat I will join the horsies and let that hunk of a guy scrub me too!

Naughty huh?

Beautiful horse. I bet that really cools him/her down.

IT's hotter than hades and the flies are terrible. It's even too hot to put fly sheets on the horses, which I hate anyway, but they mean sanity while the flies are so bad. I bathed mine today too...just to cool them done. UGH!!!!

Oof, no kidding. Just last week I was so happy to have a "perfect" day, and now we are suffering the same heat as the South, the Midwest, or many other hot places. It drains one's energy...

Love the horsey drink!

Ah Misha.... IF I come over there, will you hose me down. That will feel so good I'm sure --especially during this hot weather.

Have a nice weekend and stay COOL.
Hugs,
Betsy

Hello Misha! I watched Hillbilly work in the yard yesterday:) Too hot for me to work in the yard. I love when you start the count down to Fall! I'm counting down with you. Gus will drink out of the garden hose forever! I think it's like crack for animals or something.

I think in Arizona we just accept our summer for what it is..hot hot hot. When I see the high temps all over the country I feel bad that it makes me feel better...lol..A couple of years ago I decided I was absolutely not going to complain....so far so good..xoxoxo

Trouble is, I look like I've been hosed down but I haven't. It's the humidity - I look & feel droopy :( 61 days now.....but who's counting :)

I'm with you on the countdown to autumn. No heat relief here. Horses are sweaty too. Riding time is very, very early a.m. Debi

I would have lined up on Thursday. It reached 50C with the humidity. It was a record for these parts; one that I hope never gets broken!!

LYLAS!!
