|Annie with her Mama, Miss D|
Up-date: 10:30 p.m.
Annie is doing a little better.
Her temp. has stayed at 99 degrees.
She will have IV fluids again tomorrow and Thursday.
Hopefully the Vet will have the
blood and fecal culture results early
in the afternoon.
Annie is resting comfortably now.
Still a little woozy from sedation earlier.
I will update tomorrow afternoon.
Thank you for all your prayers.
They mean the world to me, J

Annie was a little off kilter today,
being quite fussy with her breakfast.
She ate all of her hay and drank water as usual.
But after being turned out to play,
she wanted nothing to do with grazing
or her usual romping around the pasture.
Annie went into the run-in shed
and stood all by herself...
Something was amiss,
with sweet Annie!
Upon being brought back into the barn,
she was unusually lethargic.
Her temp was taken and it was 105!
The vet was called out.
Our wonderful Vet is running IV fluids,
and pulled samples for blood and fecal cultures.
Annie has been sedated is also being treated for
Colic just in case this is an impaction.
(The Vet does not think it is, but it's best
not to rule out anything, at this time!)
A few diagnoses have been talked about,
but right now I don't really want to go into them.
I just can't.....
The only thing we do know
Annie is very, very sick....
If you are a praying person, would you please
put my girl in your prayers.
If you want to think
*Good and Healthy* thoughts for Annie,
I would appreciate that, too!
Annie will be 19 months old in a few days,
and I want to have many, many more days, and years
with this very special filly!
I will up-date later
Thank you for always loving Annie!
