A little lucky, a whole lot grateful, and a bunch blessed!

We are knee deep in cleaning up
beautiful, 100 year old trees
that are now becoming firewood.
Our electricity came back on last evening,
after losing it around 5pm Wednesday.
But, we were spared.
Our home is fine.
All the kids are great!

We are praying for those in
our home state that lost everything....
And our neighbors in the southeast
who are facing years of rebuilding
their lives.

Be back soon.....

xo,
  misha

I'm so glad no one was injured. When I showed my husband the picture of the tornado his first words were "run Annie run!" lol

Oh my gosh, I didn't know that the storms affected you! Did you get the picture of the tornado from your place??? If so, that was too close for comfort!!! So glad you, J and the kids are okay and so sad about the trees at the same time.

Misha,
I tried to email you last night ... wouldn't go thru! Looks like you and J will be very busy. Thank goodness you and the kids are all safe!
Thank you for thinking about my family during the destruction here in Alabama. Tornadoes were everywhere ... just north and south of us by miles. It is so sad to see so many people around here without their homes. I have heard so many stories of people that have lost loved ones in the storms.
Take care and hugs!

Whew! Had no idea that was happening right there in your own backyard, Misha... Do you have a basement in your home to go to??

Thank goodness it was just trees that were damaged.

Hugs.

I wondered if you were gettin' some of that. Wow! I've been in one tornado in Missouri. That's enough.

Misha, I live in Georgia and it was so scary! A tornado came 6 miles from my horses in their barn (i put them in due to lightning and hail), I have never prayed so hard in my life! I am so glad to hear you and the animals are all ok!

SO glad you are okay, Jamie and her family are fine, too...just without power, but she says that's nothing compared to all those who lost everything they had including loved ones. I am praying for all of you in the south and out in the middle of the country who have been so affected by these tornadoes. Be safe and God bless you.

Thank God you and your house/horses are OK! I was praying for you guys during that awful series of storms! I could see from the radar on TV and the internet that it was right in your area. Gracious, that is just too close for comfort!

Look at those clouds...Oy!!!

I'm so glad you are all well. My heart goes out to those who lost loved ones and those who lost their homes.

And that freight train can just stay away for a long, long time now!

Oh Misha, I am so glad you are all ok. We have been reading about these horrible storms and tornados in the news. So by the photos I presume you had a tornado within sight...how lucky you all were!! Sad about the trees but new ones can be planted....I hope your loved ones and friends are all ok...
With all this said the storm photos were amazing...nature is beautiful even at her ugliest times...
Warm hugs from us in Norway

Wonderful news about all being safe; I'm sad about the trees but we lost part of our maple. Bless God it was on the side away from my bedroom.
