~A wonderful, cloudy day~

It's Friday!
For some, that means the weekend is here!
For me?
Just another day with the kids.
But, since it is the weekend, J will be at the barn, too!
Hooray!

We had stunning weather today!
Sunny and 77 degrees.
Perfect....
I do wish Mother Nature would let Spring stay all through August.
Breezy, sunshiny, and just enough warmth
to not need a jacket.
Hot weather, humidity, and I do not fare well.
Oh, well.
I know it's coming.
Nothing can stop it.
So I am going to enjoy Spring to the fullest!
Even on cloudy days!

And a cloudy day it was,
on Wednesday when I made this little video.
I finished up in the barn and decided
to be the bearer of all things
orange and crunchy!
I cut up a bunch of carrots, stuffed them in my pockets,
and went out to the pasture.
Everyone was happy to see me.
I suppose that has something to do with the fact
that horses can smell a carrot from miles away!

So, come along while I feed crunchy goodness
to
Cadence, Miss D, Allure, and Allegra.
And Annie?
Well, I slipped her a few sugar cubes!

Even a grey, cloudy day can be filled with sunshine in other ways....

Enjoy!

xo,
  misha

The girls are beautiful Misha! It's so sweet that Cadence wants to be sure that he is the last one out and the last one in as if to watch out for HIS girls. Annie is such a little poops! I always enjoy your videos SO much. Y'all have a sweet TN weekend there in the smoky mtns.

Misha, you truly live in paradise and so do your horses!!! I love how your place looks surrounded by mountains and you have such lovely rolling pastures, tons of space for your beautiful arabians!! I'd love to visit you also someday, I've driven through Tennessee but never stopped, think I've finally found the place to stop!! ;-)
I love that your horses are all family! Allure looks like one very healthy grandma and Miss D looks like a wonderful mamma, sometimes we mammas have to tell our kids to behave...she does it beautifully!! ;-)
Have a wonderful weekend, I wish we didn't have snow like you all...and 77 degree temps- sounds like summer here...but it's gorgeous sunshine today, so I won't complain!! Hope the sun melts the snow FAST!!!
Big hugs from all of us in Norway :-)

Sweetness. Nothing quite like a beautiful Arabian (or 5) to make your day. :)

Such a lovely place, such lovely horses, and such a lovely Misha! Thanks so much for making my day a little brighter by sharing your horses...

I thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful place and horses. Your pastures are beautiful! I live in WA state and many pastures here are mud. Mine aren't so bad though, b/c I only have one horse at home right now.
Annie is my favorite b/c I just love the babies! I really miss having them around, now that we aren't breeding anymore. Once I get all of our horses, past and present, up on my blog, I'll invite you over to take a look. Or you can stop by anyway @ www.chynasgarden.blobspot.com.
Thanks for the smiles, Misha!

LOL...that was supposed to be BLOGspot...not blobspot. Sorry about the silly typo.

They are so pretty! Someday, Mr. Jim and I are going to have to take a trip down there to see them (and YOU) all in person!

Oh my goodness, I couldn't help but laugh when you called Allegra and she dissed you! What a princess! I bet if it had been J calling her, the story would have been different. : )

Misha, I am always, always amazed at the beauty of your property. I would never want to leave. And then to round it out with a beautiful, funny and endearing cast of characters...well, you are certainly blessed and I feel blessed to have been able to see a glimpse into your family. Thank you my friend for sharing.

LYLAS!

Hi Misha!
Loved the video...it was wonderful seeing the 'girls' and Cadence and hearing their little snorts and nickers. My Keefer was about the color of Allure and Allegra but maybe a bit darker with a star strip and a snip. I haven't forgotten about pictures...just too much has been going on here and now we're working on our old bathroom. Never a dull moment around here ;) Thanks for sharing your 'babies' with us and I'm glad you're feeling better. Enjoy your spring!

Yep, spring is all about blue skies one day and cloudy, and rainy the next. I don't fair well when the heat of summer comes either... Would love it if we could just have spring, fall, spring, fall. Let's forget about summer and winter.
