From my kitchen door!

What a beautiful surprise
the other morning when J opened our kitchen door.

A doe with twin fawns!

Deer are always roaming the property,
but this was a first!

Wonderful day to all...

what a wonderful treat, misha. your deer look pretty nice and healthy - ours here in KY look a bit on the scrawny side, I think. they are beautiful/peaceful creatures, aren't they? Love the high-steppin' fawn. take care, from KY.

Oh, WOW, Misha! Nice of that mama deer to bring her babies to visit you. Last year we had quite a few fawn in our neighborhood. This year I have only seen one set. I wonder if our harsh winter had anything to do with their numbers being low this year. Kind of makes me wonder.

What a very cool sight! We have a doe with twins that visit our lower cow pasture but have yet to get a photo of her.

That's beautiful Deer are such beautiful animals. They must be pretty smart too for hanging out on your property! If I were them I would want to as well.

Awwww, so beautiful. I saw a fawn the other day ( ran across the road in front of me) and I realized right then that I hardly ever see a fawn. They are so tiny and cute. So lucky to view them this close.

Oh, how cute are they. One seems to be a little frisky with the sibling there.
Life's little miracles.

Happy Saturday.

Precious! Great shot! We had a baby go through our backyard woods the other day, but it was gone in a flash!

How sweet, indeed!! We have a lot of 'yard deer' and the occasional yard fawn, but never ever have we had yard twin fawns. Did that even make sense? ha. This is wonderful. Thank you, Misha, for sharing! -Tammy

Misha,
Great picture. We absolutely love deer. When we were stationed in VA - we would see them all the time on post. We don't see them here on post very often.
I hope all is well with you, J and the fur babies.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Alisha xoxo

I love that shot! Wouldn't that be wonderful to wake up to. I'm catching up on blogs. My internet took a dive Thursday. Was it only THURSDAY?! Seemed like a month.

What a lovely gift from God! Beautiful photo as well. Looks like Mom has no trouble feeding the twins. smile.
I'll PM you with the post office saga; you know, I could really despise our mail carriers. I've never been subjected to a lazier bunch of miscreants in my life, at least not all at the same time.
