a cold, january night....part 2

my desk looks out onto my front porch.
i can see the old livestock barn
and the mountains...

cats and dogs are sleeping soundly!
temperature is a cozy 72 degrees
the wood stove is cranking!

time to get out the laptop
and visit with each one of you!

and then off to bed.
so i have the energy to haul hay and straw bales,
feed five hungry horses, muck stalls,
help J unload supplies for the week,
turn-out for playtime,
clean-up a muddy, muddy stallion
beautify three mares,
and love on

sweet dreams,

Misha, Your home looks so cozy and welcoming! We finally made it to the 50's today. Maybe it won't be too cold when you work on the farm tomorrow. Give Annie a big hug for me!
I may do a post a week for the wedding. I am busy tonight working on a quilt for the wedding.
Have a good weekend.

I agree with Donna, such a warm and welcoming home and I love the animals scattered everywhere. In fact your basket under your desk- I have one very similar- it's on my front porch for the cats who don't make it home in time to get in at night, they can sleep in there...when Jenny was litte she would go in there and sleep too..and the cats were always looking at her like, you've got to be kidding that's OUR bed!!! hahahaha!!

Give Annie some lovin' from us too ok!! Have a super Saturday! Hugs from Norway :-)

Hi Misha, Love seeing pictures of your home. My Daddy used to have an old typewriter like you have on your desk... Neat!!!! (Brought back memories!!!)

I'm sure you sleep well at night --since your days are so busy... Take care of all of those gorgeous horses. Okay???

I just adore your home Misha.... it's so warm and cozy, very welcoming as the others say!

{The hoosier cabinet is now in the guest bedroom. We both decided we like the roominess in the kitchen when we moved it to do the floor!}

Have a beautiful Sunday and enjoy the time with the horses.. hoping your weather is supposed to be sunny today!

What a beautiful home you have. I'd love to have your furniture and lovely accessories.
So different for me. It's dark by 4:00 p.m. in Vermont and we're in bed by 8:00. Don't have that youthful energy any more.
Thanks for sharing your evening with us.

Oooh, it's a good thing you've got those kids to get out side, otherwise you'd be here all day wouldn't you? I know I would! I LOVE this room Misha! Love everything about it, and it's so you!
